HCIPhilip R. Wiser is the chief technology officer of Hearst and is known as a key pioneer in the creation of the online digital music industry and the emerging over-the-top TV market.

As the CTO at Hearst—one of the world’s largest private diversified media and information companies—Wiser leads Hearst’s technology and digital product strategies that address the rapidly changing consumer and media landscape. Hearst’s major interests include magazine, newspaper and business publishing, cable networks, television and radio broadcasting, Internet businesses, television production, newspaper features distribution, business information and real estate.

Prior to Hearst, Wiser was chairman and president of Sezmi Corporation, an industry-changing technology company in global Internet television market that he co-founded in 2006.

Prior to his retirement from Duke, Mark served as Vice President of Grid Modernization where he was the lead executive for the company’s grid modernization function which was accountable for delivering enhanced operational efficiencies for the company’s transmission and distribution system, as well as providing a platform for growing the company’s revenue through leveraging grid modernization investments to provide value-added products and services to the company’s retail customer base.

Mark started with Duke Power in 1980 in the information management department. He moved to the distribution department several years later, where he was responsible for the deployment of common business processes and supporting technology that enhanced the effectiveness of engineering, construction and operations functions within the department. Following this assignment, he experienced a series of promotions within the company through assignments in the retail customer services, transmission, distribution, unregulated business operations and information technology areas.

Lenn-Millbower-HeadshotLenn Millbower spent 25 years at Walt Disney World, starting in Operations at Epcot, stage managing shows at Disney-MGM Studios, opening Disney’s Animal Kingdom, writing training programs for employees at the Disney University, designing performance improvement programs for business professionals at the Disney Institute, leading training for Walt Disney Entertainment and managing the training function for Walt Disney World Learning Solutions.

Post Disney, Lenn is a five-time published author, a frequent keynote speaker and workshop leader and a Disney makeover consultant to major organizations.

Registration Fees:

Due to the growth of iConnect, including the addition of many training sessions, we will be charging a nominal registration fee for 2017. The registration fee includes early arriver events, conference content, conference meals, and evening events on the agenda. Attendees are also welcome to bring one guest for a flat fee.
