KUBRA and Central Hudson Gas & Electric Execute New Agreement

Coppell, TX — May 20, 2014 — KUBRA, a customer interaction management solution provider, today announced it has signed a new three-year agreement with Central Hudson Gas & Electric Corporation. Central Hudson is a regulated transmission and distribution utility serving approximately 300,000 electric and 75,000 natural gas customers in eight counties of New York State’s Mid-Hudson River Valley. It has partnered with KUBRA since 2008.
“We are very excited to extend the partnership with Central Hudson and add additional services to our existing suite of installed solutions,” said Rick Watkin, President and CEO of KUBRA. “KUBRA and Central Hudson have had a great partnership for the past six years, and we look forward to building on the relationship and supporting their customers with our unique blend of customer interaction services.”
Central Hudson undertook an extensive RFP process to source one vendor for all its paper and digital-based billing and payment requirements. A core component of the utility’s selection criteria was that the vendor needed to offer print and e-billing channels supported by a sole vendor with a common technology platform. KUBRA was successful in winning the bid with the most complete solution that supported a common technology architecture.
