KUBRA and Orlando Utilities Commission Execute New Agreement
Coppell, TX — July 7, 2015 — KUBRA, a customer interaction management solution provider, today announced it has signed a new agreement with the Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC). OUC—The Reliable One is an electric and water municipal utility serving Orlando, Florida and portions of surrounding Orange County. Currently, OUC serves more than 234,000 customers.
OUC issued a Payments Request for Proposal (RFP) with the goals of enhancing the customer experience by offering an expanded choice of payment methods to their customers and achieving operational efficiencies through the application of new payment technologies. OUC was looking for an experienced vendor who could implement their needs in a short period of time and also increase overall customer experience rates.
KUBRA came to the table with an integrated solution that will meet both goals. OUC will deploy KUBRA EZ-PAY™ to support credit and debit card payments across the web, mobile, and phone channels enabling real-time account access and real-time payment posting.
