KUBRA and Lakeland Electric Execute New Agreement
Coppell, TX — August 19, 2014 — KUBRA, a customer interaction management solution provider, today announced it has signed a new three-year agreement with Lakeland Electric. Lakeland Electric is the third-largest publicly owned utility in Florida, servicing over 120,000 customers. Lakeland Electric completed a detailed RFP and reviewed over a dozen organizations before concluding that KUBRA had the most complete solution on the market. This new agreement includes KUBRA’s comprehensive suite of meter-to-cash online and offline billing and payment solutions.
“We are very excited about the new extension to our long-term partnership with Lakeland Electric,” said Rick Watkin, President and CEO of KUBRA. “We are going to introduce a number of new solutions including our Mobile Suite that we believe will further expand their paperless billing customer base.”
Lakeland Electric was looking for one vendor to manage their offline billing, online storage of documents, e-bill program, and all e-payment applications. They wanted all these payment solutions to sit on one platform for easier administration, and wanted to be able to make any future system changes independently. KUBRA met these requirements and also added several new capabilities including a mobile e-billing solution which was a key objective for Lakeland Electric.
