Golden State Water Supports Cash-Preference Customers by Raising Awareness of the KUBRA Retail Cash Option

Golden State Water Company is a regulated utility in California that delivers quality, reliable water to more than one million people across the state. The company is a wholly owned subsidiary of American States Water Company and is regulated by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, State Water Resources Control Board Division of Drinking Water, and the California Public Utilities Commission. It is also a member of the California Water Association (CWA).

Through its partnership with KUBRA, Golden State Water was able to implement a more cost-effective payment solution that effectively serves its cash-paying customers. In this case study, we highlight the challenges and goals of this project and its impressive results.
