Facts & Figures on Hurricane Idalia

In late August 2023, a powerful and destructive Category 4 storm devastated the Southwestern United States - particularly Florida, Georgia, and the Carolinas. Winds and the resulting floodwaters were the highest in Florida and caused significant damage to thousands of homes, businesses, and other infrastructure along its inland path.
