How to Add COVID-19 Information To Your KUBRA Storm Center™ Map
As the COVID-19 pandemic continues to unfold, we want to provide tips on how you can keep your customers informed using the latest version of Storm Center.
Using Alert Banners to Provide Important Information
Alert Banners are a standard, self-serve tool located on the map that can be used to provide important updates around the pandemic.
Alert Banner Use Cases:
- Provide outbreak information about how the outbreak is affecting your service territory
- Link to external web pages with information about the pandemic
- Provide service updates and best practices such as how utility crew members are following health standards during the pandemic
Using Custom Layers to Create COVID-19 Ad Hoc Points
You can use Custom Layers to create ad hoc points and polygons on the map to communicate COVID-19 information, such as testing locations and food banks. If you need help with implementation or would like to redefine an existing existing icon on your map, please reach out to your dedicated Client Success Manager.
Custom Layers Use Cases:
- Testing locations
- Food banks
- Payment kiosks
- Shelters
- Outreach vans
Adding Dedicated COVID-19 Buttons to Your Map
New buttons can be added to the Map Header, the Menu content or Help/Information content in the tool panel, or at the bottom of information panels. Buttons with links to relevant COVID-19 information can be added upon request and will require a short turnaround time. Please reach out to your Client Success Manager for more information.
