KUBRA is monitoring both the USPS and Canada Post daily to determine any SLA impacts due to reduced delivery capacity. In the event of a disruption, KUBRA will notify you about any impacts to our SLAs.  

Here are the additional measures we have in place at our print facilities across North America to ensure the safety of both our employees and the mail packages we distribute through USPS and Canada Post.

  • Increased cleaning and sanitization of equipment
  • Distributed gloves and hand sanitizer to employees
  • Limited to no shift crossover to reduce cross contamination risk
  • Stopping shifts early to allow machine wipe downs and for employees to leave before next shift arrives
  • Enforced social distancing
  • Protecting keyboards with new plastic covers at the beginning of each shift
  • Increased facility cleaning
  • Employing professional disinfection staff to conduct extensive cleanings on weekends including a full chemical spray down of facilities
  • Cleaning and disinfecting all “touched” surfaces (e.g. door handles, desks, machinery, etc.) throughout the day

How safe is the mail and mail transport equipment? 

Current Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) and World Health Organization (WHO) guidance continues to indicate there is no evidence the virus is spreading through the mail. According to WHO, the likelihood of an infected person contaminating commercial goods is low, and the risk of catching the virus from a package that has been moved, traveled, and exposed to different conditions and temperatures is also low.
