OUC Improves Outage Reporting and Communications with KUBRA Self-Service Tools Notifi and Storm Center

The Orlando Utilities Commission (OUC) is Florida’s second-largest electricity and water provider that serves more than 245,000 customers. Established in 1923, OUC is committed to its community through sustainability, reliability, and customer focus. The utility has been honored four times as the most reliable electric utility in the Southeastern United States by PA Consulting Group. OUC has also been awarded the best drinking water in Florida by the American Water Works Association (AWWA).

OUC teamed up with KUBRA in 2016 to implement Notifi®, an alerts and preference management platform, to improve its communication channels. The utility also implemented the Storm Center outage map to improve the customer experience and further achieve its goals.
