What Does SOC Stand For?

SOC stands for System and Organization Controls. It’s an external attestation of the internal controls and processes of any services organization developed by the American Institute of CPAs (AICPA). 

What Is a SOC 3 Report?

A SOC 3 report is governed by the same standards as a SOC 2 report but is for general use and can be distributed freely by the service organization. The report is issued following an intensive audit by an independent auditing firm. It certifies that the organization provides the highest level of certification and recognition of operational compliance that an organization can receive. Specifically, it registers how KUBRA’s information, security practices, policies, and procedures meet the SOC 3 trust principles criteria for security, availability, and confidentiality.
