Time-lapse Video Shows Outage Map Activity During Hurricane Florence

Hurricane Florence devastated thousands of North and South Carolina homes when it made landfall on September 14, bringing widespread power outages with it. Serving the majority of the affected areas, Duke Energy was hit the hardest in terms of total outages. Despite the fact that many are still without power to date, Duke is working relentlessly to restore power to customers. Duke Energy’s efforts have not gone unnoticed as the company has kept customer communication active during the restoration process.
